These iPhone 17 Air renders are allegedly Apple’s finalized design

Even though the iPhone 17 series is months away, the rumour mill has been churning about the company’s heavily leaked iPhone 17 Air. A new leak shows off the rumoured handset and its very different camera bump.
YouTuber and leaker Front Page Tech (Jon Prosser) claimed to have seen the iPhone 17 Air and has made renders based on what he’s seen. The render shows a camera module design similar to the Pixel lineup with a horizontal bar. The handset would only sport a single camera on the bar, which seems odd for Apple, as only its SE lineup carries a single camera.
The iPhone 17 Air is reportedly replacing the iPhone 17 Plus, which might be a downgrade from the 16 Plus in 2024. We would expect to see an ultrawide on an iPhone 17 Plus replacement. Even Samsung’s S25 Edge has been shown with two cameras, and we expect it will serve as an ultrawide.
The renders showcase that the iPhone 17 Air will have a familiar button layout with the volume keys and Action button. It’s unclear if the Camera Control button is also available on this handset as well. However, rumours suggest that the iPhone 17 Air will sport the Camera Control and the iconic Dynamic Island.
The iPhone 17 Air is also rumoured to be 5.5mm thin and lacks a SIM tray in all markets. It will launch alongside the rest of the iPhone 17 series, which Front Page Tech has also leaked renders of.
